This is where I installed The switches for the KC lights On the 1981 Big Little Bear Toyota. I fabbed a switch plate from plexi and used smaller rockers But I think these larger rockers will snap into the dash bezel once I remove the pocket. If so then I'll order more of these rockers and wire them into an Isolated fuse block of their own. I plan on running 4 forward and 2 reverse LED KCs in retro style stainless housings on my roll bar.

I used mazda/toyota panel fasteners Ebay via China but the quality was poor making the fasteners not consistent in doing their job. I had to hand pick fasteners to make them work. Just waiting for matching carpet on order to cover it.

So I went to Depot and picked up the wood needed for the lower door panel area. I ordered the speaker grille and baffle on ebay. I'll use the existing speakers, Pioneer 3 ways

I was going to just add three inches to the original gap guards but I didn't like the cut so I changed the pattern but I'm still not happy with the look.. I made it extra wide to cover the entire Frame to protect it but it just looks goofy to me. Kind of like the way giant mud flaps look on these trucks. I may just cut these down to show more frame. Or go with a different rubber material like diamond plate rubber matting.

I used some old 45 shell casings to punch the fastener holes.

I found this Mat material at Lowes I thought Maybe I could use to cover Frame gap from the Three inch body lift.

These came out of a low mileage 2005 4Runner and after cutting off the seat brackets and re-positioning them, I will be able to bolt them to the existing Bolt Holes on the truck. I cleaned them up with a Bissel wet pet vac and they came out looking almost new. I can't believe they're ten years old.

Soooo.... not the greatest pic. But These lower skirts on the bed are a problem spot on all of these Trucks at some point... My question to all that have encountered and tackled this problem is.....It appears that on the backside of this seam is a pinchweld. Has anyone drilled out the pich welds or cut through this seam to separate the two panels to initiate repairs??

So Until I can Afford a Fiberglass Bed I've got to keep this one alive and Rust Loves to eat these beds. Fortunately It has been contained in the desert climate and I still have a bed. Lucky most that I am finding is on the surface with the exception of the Tailgate corners and the lower bed skirt seams.

I know this doesn't help the door seal any but I wanted something to protect the sill from the folks who are not as careful as we are on entry and exits. I Had some clear bra but couldn't get it to stick so I went with this 3m grip tape for steps and skate boards

Some more of that stuff I got at Lowes for Sound proofing and I think has an R rating of 3...Not much but hey. I also didn't want to pay what they wanted for carpet pad so I went with a Plush memory foam Bath mat with Rubber backing for 16 bucks to go between the Headliner and this sound proofing material. It was a perfect fit.

No more bailing wire.. This is one of those Taiwan TO-###### Parts... The Quality is uhhh... not great but what can you do when you can't find factory original at a good price. I complained about the quality on the first grill I received they sent me another not even wanting the return. But it's better than the busted up original.
