Headers and exhaust made truck slower, 3.0 toyota
I've heard for a long time that people put headers and performance exhaust on their 3.0 toyotas to get a slight increase in power. Got it back from the shop (lce headers, flowmaster muffler) and its incredibly slower than before. I guess it lost a lot of low end torque but what should i do about this? Anything to help?
Don't tell me anything about 'you shouldn't have expected it to be fast' - i know that, I wasn't. But its so much slower than before. Next move? Ive heard about regearing..?

The only true remedy I can think of is dropping in the 3.4 5vze. I don't think any money spent on trying to improve the 3vze would be very rewarding. Sounding more powerful and having more power are two, very different, things.
