Help A Newb With His Stupid Truck Please (Warm Start Issues)
My Truck takes at least two tries to start when warm. If it's cold, starts up right away no problem.
Also, when I start it warm, it idles really rough and almost stalls when I come to the first stop. Once I get it moving I don't have issues.
Any ideas? I am pretty new to working on vehicles. I have cleaned out Throttle Body, changed plugs, timed the engine, changed tps. I did just run an injector cleaner (I know spare my poor soul the comments it was worth a try). Not sure if that's the issue but I did have hard warm starts before that.

is this for a fuel injected or carb car.
can be anything,
if its a carb, its timing and or fuel. you either have too little or too much
or your throttle needs to be adjusted, adjust the idle screw, the cable itself, the choke.

i don't know of any 22re that got a cam sensor.
one thing you could check is the temp sending unit that actuates the cold start injector on the side of the plenum... i'd start by first making sure that the csi is getting a signal when the engine is cold, and then that it's actually squirting.
