22RE Alternator Bracket
In the 360K and 27 years I've had my 4Runner, Iv'e gone through a few alternator set ups.
The current alternator - a 140A Nippondenso alternator, seems to like breaking the alternator bracket
So, to save all the YotaTech members from falling prey to over priced ebay parts

I did a tad of research for you.
The OEM part number is 16381-35021
And, at least as of this posting - was under $20

New Shiny
It looks thicker

my alternator bracket broke - I did the jaguar upgrade... so my assumption is larger alt, more tension, more breaky (in general, i did read that ewong had a non-stock alt)

I think I noted Im running a 140A nippon densio alternator; its NOT stock!
You can see where the boss is - on the back side, its been dreaml-ed / ground down to give clearance for the coolant hose.
Also - at one point, the bottom bolt vibrated out and thus there was extra stress on the bracket.
Anyway - Im still using the broken bracket as the washer seems to hold everything in place OK
its on my list to get to (R&R) but the truck isn't a daily driver, so I am more in a hurry to get the mouse cage in, than I am to deal with the alternator bracket.
