The link in my email sent me to the first page of this thread. Hard to believe you've had this 4runner for over a year.
Those are good pics. Little kids kill most of my mod time, but they'll only be little once.

Picked up a set of FJ80 springs from tinigunner11. Thanks for the great deal and fast shipping. My wife didn't tell me they had been delivered yesterday
I think this will be great simple way to lift the rear of the truck, i will just need to decide what to do for a panhard bar relocated bracket (maybe 4Crawler)

This little guy is my grandson. I was in the military when my kids were little. Missed a few birthdays and them learning to walk. The Lord sort of gave my a 2nd chance with the grandkid so figure I will make time.
Old dome light switch gave up the ghost, tried soldering it but that lasted about a week. Dug into the parts stash and decided to make a small upgrade in brightNess
I may use the Duplicolor interior paint I have to make the housing color match but this will do for now.

Went to swap out the driver's side door handle today. It is generally a pretty quick process but when you forget that the little chrome part of the key cylinder is spring loaded and likes to fly off if you aren't careful
My driver's side seat belt works but I really would like one that retracts better so I picked one up on ebay. Fast delivery but I ended up with this POS
I was really surprised because the seller had great feedback and appeared to be a Toyota recycler.
Anyway I started the return process on eBay and was surprised when I got an immediate refund from ebay. Not sure if the seller had a bunch of issues but am happy with the outcome and didn't have to mess with sending the crap back

Ewww! That would be very frustrating. Sorry it didn't work out, glad it was resolved quick for you.

After looking at a few auto parts places for a replacement rear wiper blade I decided to call the dealer and see if they could get one. Sure enough, 1 day later and $10.68 I have a factory replacement
Part # for future reference
Looking like the old one may have been the original
I have never seen one that worn out
I am gonna save the old one to see if I can add the offset adapter to a winter blade

Thanks guys! Appreciate it
I hit Pick-n-pull today looking for some front seat belts
they had this 1994 'builder' for $1800, needs paint, not sure about mechanical needs. I think i did pretty good with the $400 i paid for mine. I am into mine maybe $1400 including stuff I bought for the SAS
Target rich environment
Found some seat belts, scrubbed the crap out of them, a little dirty. The retractors work way better than my current belts. Hopefully they dry quickly and I can get them installed tomorrow
Had a $2.61 'Environmental Fee' WTF?!?!

LOL!! Saw that pile when I was at that yard about 2 weeks ago. At $1800 I just kept walking. Sort of felt bad for paying $2200 for my 4 cyl, but then again....
Did you find any 4Runners out in the yard? I only found 2 and they were both heavily picked over. But I bet the one you got that belt from was the gold one?

$1800 does seem kinda like a lot for a junkyard what'sthehistory 2nd gen. Nice find on the seat belts, I've been looking for ages for a set for the 96.
Also darn you, now I'm thinking of utilizing your turn signals in the spoiler idea as people seem to be having trouble seeing the right rear signal. Maybe if they wouldn't drive 3 feet off the bumper.... anyway, it's a great idea I may have to try to find some time and a round tuit for.

I paid less for the two seatbelts than the POS i got on ebay even with shipping. I did check out a 97 to see if the belts might be compatible but they were already gone. I was hoping to score the rear deflector off the 3rd gen since they have the center cut out of the 3rd light versus the funky 2nd gen version but the whole tailgate was MIA.
