How to hardwire windshield mounted GPS/Cellular devices:?
Guys,
I have a windshield mounted Android device that uses Micro-USB for power cable. I'm going to buy this hardwire Micro-USB cable:
http://www.amazon.com/Hardwire-Barew.../dp/B005J4OTUO
Need some assistance on where/how to run the cable from the windshield, behind the dash and then where to wire it up at? I don't want the cable draped over the front of the dashboard. Want a nice hidden-wire setup!
Any suggestions on how to run the wire behind the dashboard, where the windshield meets the dash?

Theres no where mid dash to hide the wire, one of the cleanest portable navi installs Ive seen was a guy cut up his visor and put the gps in there, and hid the wire down the pillar cover and under the dash.
This way you flip the visor up and the gps is out of sight for thieves .
The only down side to this is if you want to bring your gps into a diffrent vehicle for some reason its not a easy swap.
