Looking good, how do you like the ev8's? I am thinking about running one in a custom sealed box (~.3cuft.) over the drivers wheel well. Like this:

I have a 3rd row seat so I cannot take up space in the rear other than over the humps. (I have ~ 10" of space from the rear of the seat to the rear hatch, but really want to keep that space for stuff as room is tight when the kids are riding in the 3rd row, much less carryign anything along.) Hoping to be able to keep the cubby for either an amp or tool storage.

Loving them. Just ordered a pair of SA-8 V.2s but they wont be here for a month or so. I just made a video of the E-8 V.2s today but I dont have a good enough internet connection here to upload it so it's gonna have to a wait a few days.
I've never seen a 3rd gen with third row seats. I didn't know they made them.

They offered them in a few countries, there a few threads floating around with conversions using J**p seats as well. I have a build thread over on Ih8mud and t4r under 89s rule screen name. Im using one I had for a fj62 LC, I think it is a little people seats brand but not sure.
I got out yesterday morning and made a sample box out of cardboard to see what will work.
You can see the brackets I installed for the 3rd row, it comes to the edge of the hump so I will have to see what thickness of wood will work. The Sub will not fit facing up like the one in the video, because of the 3rd row I cannot make it come out that far past the hump toward the center. I think I am going to mount it facing towards the center behind where the seat sits. Looks like I will probably install an amp in the portion under the window, at an angle. There is a thread over on DIYmobileaudio.com of a 100 series with a similar set-up: http://www.diymobileaudio.com/forum/...eted-pics.html
I am mainly trying to get ideas from everyone and making it work for me.
Also found your thread over there :

I think I may end up with an amp in the cubby too, but I am not 100% sold on it, mainly because I want to keep some storage for random stuff.
Stil probably going to trade for one of the e8 keeps me from having to sell my JL 12w3d4 and then trying to find something else. Several people have mentioned the new Alpine 8" sub as a great sub for what I want.

These are E-8s. SA-8s are bigger, and SA-8 V.2s are bigger still.
And no they will not be for sale. I'm going to hopefully buy myself a little commuter to save gas and these will go in there.

SA-8 V.2s...... MMMMMMMmmmmmMMM.....
Went down over 100 watts from the E-8s due to the impedance change, and they are STILL louder and lower and stiff as hell.
Also submitted a Project Assessment Form on the PWK website so I will be having a new box design in a couple months. Then I need to get off my ass and do the Big 3 and wire up the 1200D. Should be fun!
