Question Tired of Overpaying for Crappy car audio installation!! Help!

Anyone know of any material I can read online or at a bookstore that will show me how to bridge a two channel amp for one 10" sub and do other car audio installations? I am tired of paying for installation. I am sure it can't be that difficult. I am just ready to try installations for myself. I figure I can put the money into the system or other mods!!
Thanks!!

Google search found this very informative site about bridging.

I would suggest google searching anything and everything you ever wanted to know.

audio installations

Installing audio equipment is not a difficult thing if you A follow the directions that came with it, or take your time, don’t rush and install it the way you want it to be “custom installs”! As for bridging a 2 channel amp as long as it is bridgeable it will have left and right +- +- for the channels, most of the time you will see under the left channel +- another + and under the right channel +- another - all you do is plug your RCA cables into the amp as left and right, take your + side from your sub and screw it to the left sides + out of the amp, then the negative from the sub side to the - on the right channel of the amp. This is how all of the amps I’ve installed over the years have been, some have a button you have to press to bridge them others automatically sense the different ohm load and do it on their own! I hope this helps, if not email me I can take some pics or walk you through any thing I can, Matt
