Stereo speaker mods and installation suggestions
Hey all, I will be looking to install some subs and an amp in my 94 runner and was kinda wondering what everyone else has done.
I would like to have the subs and possibly a couple 6x9's in a long box that could sit in the cargo area...with enough speaker cable to allow me to possibly move the box out of the cargo area to the rear seat area if I need to haul anything, or take the dogs for a ride. Has anyone done that type install b4? I would love to see any pics available of your rear sub enclosures if available.
Thanks
Chris

Seriously you don't need the 6x9's. Whats the budget and how many subwoofers would you LIKE to have?

I bought my 93 Runner with the stuff already in it. It has a Pioneer cassete head unit with 6 disc changer and Pioneer Premiere EQ. It goes into a couple of amps and then two wires come just behind the back seat to plug into a 12" Solo Baric in a box that I can remove when I need to haul something. One small amp for the fronts is under the passenger seat mounted to the floor. The other in in the driver side back storage compartment. The door speakers are all MB Quartz and there are some tweeters added too.
That's all I realy know about it. Sounds great though.
