DVD + 2 Headrest Monitors

Here ya go.
We (Geartech) installed this in my '03.
-DVD/CD/MP3 player
-T.V. Tuner
-Aux. Inputs
-2 5.6" monitors
-2 925 mhz headphones (not IR)

This was done at our shop. We have the shrouds custom made for us then we color match the shrouds to the leather. All this is done with the factory head unit.

More on the way.
As soon as I get more scratch:

-Alpine D300 head unit
-1 JL Audio 12W6 in custom enclosure
-MB quartz seperates
-1 JL Audio 500/1 Amp
-1 JL Audio 300/4 Amp
-Back up camera (NOT A HITCH CAM OR SILLY CLIP ON MIRROR)

Sorry it took a while.

If anyone wants to see higher res. pix of the work on the 4Runner or some of the other work we have done on other vehicles, I can e-mail them to you.
We have done plenty of custom work on H2's and Escalades. Including custom fiberglass enclosures.

Thanks.
The model is Phoenix and it is single DIN.

As for how much, I have no idea on the retail price. I can check at the shop tomorrow. My cousin handles the component part of the biz.

Another nice thing about the 4Runner headrest post is that it's hollow, so you can run the wires down into the seat. Makes for a real clean install.

We pride on keeping the vehicle as OEM looking as possible.

Not into it. All that money could have gone towards something usefull. I saw someone driving around town with two dvd monitors playing in the back of the headrests with nobody even in the back seat. What's the point? Is it about the bling bling or something? I understand if you have kids and you are trying to keep them entertained in the back. But if not, come on.

Thanks pbm17.

As for why?
Because this is the type of business that we are in. We pre-load the vehicles for dealerships. So it helps sell the job when I am at a dealership and someone wants to see the clean work.

The only time it's playing with only me in the truck is when I'm listening to a concert DVD.

Looks good. When I had this in mine, I had two extra screens in the visors. So I had like five tv screens. The one in the center was for the nav, and then four for the dvd player.
You can pick up the visor screens on Ebay for less the $100 nowadays.

Also is it just me or is the passenger side shroud top left hand corner sticking out past the headrest?

Thanks guys.

Actually the shroud is centered. I think it is because the headrest is tilted down is why it looks like that.

I might put one in the passenger visor.

The big surprise is when we do my mirror.
What we do with an H2 or any GM mirror is put a 2.5" monitor in the mirror for back-up and towing. We keep all the functions working (compass).
It is real time consuming, but looks real clean.

We just need to take my mirror apart to see if there is room.

Serge

How much would you charge to do all that? How much for the parts and then for the labor?
