Connecting Ipod to Stock Stereo 2002
Hi- I need to tech help with connecting my Ipod Nano to my stock stereo. As per Apple.com I need to do the following:
Use extension cabel with 3.5mm stereo connectors on each end (I am assuming these are both male) and connect to the AUX input.
1. Am I right in assuming both sides need to be male and if so where in the world do I find this cable? I seems like everywhere they only sell m/f.
2. Where in the world do I look for the AUX input? Is it easy? Has anyone done this?
Thanks!!!!!!

Venice,
welcome nooob! make sure you put your questions in the appropriate section. this will be move to the car stereo/electronics forum
i dont know of anyone here in recent threads whove connected their ipods to stock stereos. theres a thread here recently that ewayota started about connecting alpines to which there is a good company called PIE that makes them. the copmany's name is "precision interface electronics" out of chatsworth, ca. google them and im sure they will ahve a solution for you.
also, being a noob that you are, SEARCH! search the term "ipod" on the forum. there are many threads talking about ipod integration. i myself have a nano and i found my answer buried deep inside about 1 of 10 or so threads on ipod/head unit integration.
