Guidelines to post in classified section??

Had an 85 runner for 20 years, and sold it last year.
Have some parts that I'm sure some peeps could use.
When making attempts to post in classified, it brings up a prompt saying I'm not allowed to.
Can anyone help?
Thanks

I believe our forum has similar rules to other websites regarding classifieds. Should be in the FAQ somewhere too. Basically you need to either contribute to the site via paid membership or contribute with at least 20-30 posts in the forums - this is to prevent spammers from joining here and spamming up the classifieds with ads they'll never check up on again. Hope this helps

Thanks man, I figured as much, most require only 10 post, but not sure, and I read through all rules, guidelines, and faqs and couldn't find anything which was why I posted.
I understand the reasoning, but also think it's silly for me to make a bunch of post in order to pass along some parts to those who need them.
Rules are rules, thanks for your time bro
Peace

There is a time limit that you have to be a member. I am thinking it is 2 weeks. By having the time limit it really does save us from numerous issues. Parts are getting hard for some to come by and is always needed.

It is listed at the top of the classifieds
Member for 15 days and 15 posts (not 15 nice truck posts in 60 seconds, that is post padding)

This is a huge bummer for me. I've been lurking for years and I still don't have 15 posts. I have some a buncha stuff that I haven't been able to sell for cheap that I'd happily give away to a local Yotatech aficionado.

I don't have much to contribute in the forums. People that are smarter and have more experience have more useful advice in the tech forums.

Anyway, I understand the rationale for the rule. Nobody likes spam. It would be nice, though, if people were allowed to post based simply on account age. Maybe, though, spammers can just create fake accounts and sit on them?
