get an axle that has the pumpkin on the correct side, being a taco your front wheel driveshaft is on the driver side? Theres lots of D44s with a driver side differential.

Contact Marlin Crawler. He's the man when it comes to transfer cases.

Go to www.tacomaterritory.com and check their SAS FAQ... All you need should be covered. Personally, I would not run a 55" mini-truck front axle w/ a 60" Taco rear.

Drivers side pumpkins came on old fords (76-79) and full size Jeep wagoneers

Because Dana made all the old axles, the outer knuckles can be changed easily to run what ever bolt pattern you want 5 by 5.5, 6 by 5.5, etc.

Check out TTORA for full details

Best bet is gonna be the waggy D44. I used an 87 axle on mine with marlin dual cases. As stated marlin is the man when it comes to cases, as long as you can get one that doesn't leak for 3 months and thats with your truck sitting in the driveway. Honestly i'm not happy with the product at all and would have gone a different route but the customer service I got from Dave over there was awesome. Are you wanting leaf or coils in the front. The waggy for leafs or if money is not that big of a deal get an fj80 housing and have it flipped and the 3rd member remounted to the driver side. The coils mounts on it are directly in line with the tacoma coil mount. If you have any questions please feel free to email me or you can call me any time you need questions answered. BTW the ttora board is good.... if your coolest mod is putting shock boots on your headrest and gearshifters as quoted from some on that board.

You can get stock waggy springs in the 7 leaf version or the 5 leaf. Those sprung over on a 44 depending on how you build your hangers and shackles will get you anywhere to 5-6" of lift or more

I've had mine in for over a year now, with no leaks. It really depends on how it was asssembled, I took my time and made sure it went together properly....

Taking your time is one thing but when it's built wrong from the start ( 21 spline instead of 23) the adapter is not maching right ( low spot making it not seal right) and it slings oil out of the top ( a known problem and they still sent me a standard shifter instead of a short shifter) assembly and time have no meaning in doing it right.

Did you call Marlin? He usually will correct any problems you have.

Oh Dave knows me very well from my calls. That's why in my last post I said his customer service was all that kept me keeping his crawl box. I'm still having issues after doing all they said for me to do so next up is a new reduction box
