Well, I didn't make my memorial weekend deadline, OH well, there is always another weekend...
Well, its been a little slow, being doing alot of the finish work to the rig, and its been slower going than expected, well, I am just anal,lol..
Here is how the tail end looks fully assembeld
And for those who had asked early on about the edge of tank/strap, here is what I did about it..

Here is the wiring and master battery cable under the rig...
All the rewire work under the hood is now done..
I powered up the rig, and started checking circuits to make sure everything worked, thing even turned over (no fuel pump yet).
Here are the new fancy smancy led tail lamps..

Ok, there is still a few items to finish off, but it was time to do the suspension. First off, I wanna give a huge thanks for jason/trevor from S&N for assistance on the link geometry. I will admit, I am still trying to under stand the ins/outs of it all, and to be honest, I don't wanna screw around with the setup, I wanna get out and use this damn thing....
Well, this morning, I dug into the rear...
Here are a few pics..

Here is the new rear x-member that the rear links attach to, its only tacked into place. Judgeing how it turned out, and another simular setup I did on a 4 runner, this thing should with stand some seriose abuse...
This is just nuts..
So, tommorow I will actually hopefully finish it off..

I'm very interested to learn more about your rear suspension design, so the more pictures the better! It looks fantastic! What kind of travel do you expect to achieve in the rear with that setup?

This paricular 4 link is known as an inverted 4 link..... I don't know all the characteristics of this 4 link yet, and like I say, needed help with the geometry, but I know its far better than triangleated 4 link on how it cylces thru its travel (hard to explain but it goes in an arch)...
As for travel, due to how we set it up, it will have tons of droop, more than is really needed...

It's definitely an interesting design. This could be an easy design that could be adapted to my 3rd gen 4runner just due to the location of the stock upper link mounting point on the axle. Very interesting!

Here is the typical disk brake setup..
As you can see, the shcoks are only tached into place since I need to make sure the tires won't hit them where that are under compression..
Here is how the rear trussing and sway bar mount turned out..

The stock 3rd gen 4runners have a tube crossmember that runs the full width of the vehicle which would be perfect for this type of swaybar, not to mention the ability to have it be able to disconnect. Where did you get the pieces to make yours? Is it a kit or did you have to piece together everything. If so, can you give me the details, because I really want to do this on my rig soon.

So where do I find websites for the companies that make them so I can ask them? I know Currie Enterprises website, but S&N I've never heard of. I would love to see some close-up pics of the system they make, and just custom make it for the correct length and tube diameter I'll need.
