well, what you should do is think about what you wanna use it for. Google off road bumpers and look at what other people do. Make some notes on what you wanna copy. Are you gonna mount a winch in it? Do you have the tools to weld grind and cut the metal? If you dont. I would highly recomend that you just buy a premade bumper. I built my own and it takes a lot of time for measuring, making templates, cutting the metal, grinding welding. Not the easiest thing to do. Then you gotta think about how are you going to attach it to the frame? I have 10 bolts holding mine onto my frame. What ever you do, good luck to you.

The center bumper is over $200, but if i buy the materials is going to be a lot less. Besides i need something to do in my spare time, besides being a dad, she's only 1 yo, i need this me time.
That's why i am asking for help

Search and find a picture of a bumper you like and copy it. Just do it and quit talking about doing it. Good luck.

Go to trail gear and either buy or copy their winch mount. You can work off of that and have a decent mount for a winch.

Check out IH8MUD.com for LC bumper ideas. A whole bunch there. Here's the one we made on my LC...

We're thinking of redesigning it, so this one may go up for sale...

Start by designing what you want- Tube, plate, combination? Winch/no winch? Draw it up and plan it out. Then don't be scared to change your plans... And most of all, have fun with it!!

Good luck!
