ya mine hit a lot . i just took the gastank skid off and used a angle grinder and cut that piece of the skid out. its only in the side so it doesn't take away from the protection...

Chaplain or anyone.. do you know of a similar kit for a Gen 1??? I am getting an 88 and want to do a TC front but can't seem to find an LT back. Any suggestions?

Total Chaos now makes this for the rear of tacos. Maybe you could adapt some of the pieces from it but chances are you are going to need to make your own. Wait, yours is leaf sprung right. Just swap out the leafs for some deavers and change out the hangers and your pretty much there. TC has a rear kit that includes everything for older tacos and should work on the rear of an older 4runner. Call them and they will sort it out for you.

Bypass upgrade
Finally figured out how to squeeeeeeze a bypass in the rear and also added Trail-Gear's new frame support. http://www.trail-gear.com/tacoma#box

Like those baby bypasses do you. lol I use to think bypass shocks were overkill for a DD/prerunner until I experienced the difference they make. Not sure about their performance on a rockcrawler, but for bombing through the dezert they are a must have.
