(my) 87' Black Diamond
My Black Diamond in the Rough
I got my 87' 4runner about Mid-November just stock 5speed 4Cyl rebuilt only 6,000miles on it when I bought it. Replaced some steering components in December, as well as some new wheels and tires(came with studs). then, in January I was driving on a semi-snow day when had to go around this turn and Ford Explorer, Nothing happened... everything started to slip hit my brakes nothing...so I hit the gas and tried going with it... not fast enough BAM. hit my front driver side into the back of the explorer.

Ripped off all the loose parts and made it look half way decent...drove it around like that until late march....I wrecked it again this time I admit it was my fault, wasn't paying attention in front of me while changing lanes and hit the back of a car a bit harder then I did in the former accident but still in the same spot.
This is what my truck USED to look like before this big ordeal.
Updates are soon to come, about to bend everything back and buy new parts...or just find another one and swap engines. Lets just hope it was as easy as the first time.

Worked on it a bit! I dunno if I can push that back out or not.... I hope it works out. Gonna get a friend of mine who is a pro at body work and ask for some advice. Ive heard that I could just hollow it out, cut it out, weld a new one on, but to do THAT I would need a welder and someone who sells a piece like that. So right now my objective is to take out all of the damaged pieces and buy the parts. I want this done by summer so I can have some fun in the sun with the roof off!
MMMMM.... Crunchy
Gotta Tilt your head a bit xD
*sigh*
You cant see it but when I got into my wreck my fan bent a few flaps in the radiator so its got a dented circle in it
More updates to come! Idk if people read my forum but its worth the try...if you have any comments or suggestions id like to hear them via PM system!
