Ok, I am considering another group buy. It seems there are several of you who missed out on the first one and have requested for another one. With this in mind there are a couple of things to consider. First if I reopen a group buy the price will not be the same due to the fact that the pipes are now coming standard with a satin black powdercoat finish(compliments of callmej75) or an upgradable liquid smoke over chrome base(similar to a black chrome).

So with this said the group buy price will be about $60 with free shipping in the 48 states for the standard satin black finish or $65 with free shipping in the 48 states for the liquid smoke over chrome base. Outside of the 48 states you will need to contact me prior to placing an order for additional shipping charges. (Usually $10 to canada)

If you are interested in another group buy then reply back in the thread or send me a pm so I can get some numbers together.

ok, group buy part two starts now. I have ordered additional supplies according to the people that have shown interest. They are well on the way by now. If I run out of supplies I will inform everyone of a short delay for me to get more in although I think I should be ok.

New group buy price is $60 with free shipping in the 48 states. Pipes come standard with a satin black finish. For other colors please PM me before ordering so I can get a price quote. Prices will vary on custom colors. If you are outside of the 48 states please contact me for additional shipping charges before placing an order.

www.toyboxfab.com - go there to make a purchase. You can pay via paypal, or credit card through paypal.

Good product; I bought mine a few months ago. FWIW, if you have the K&N FIPK the tube will be too long to accomodate the filter. At least it was for me. I whacked 2" off the front end and it's just about perfect now. Another inch may have to go when I fab my home made snorkel.

Cootees was helpful and it was a good transaction -- I'd buy from him again.

Thank you for the kind words. Good to know about the fipk too. I just had someone shoot me another e-mail about it last night it seems that the fipk plastic tubes commonly crack.

So, after my trip to Lowes ( ) I finally installed the ISR. It does seem a bit too big. Shouldn't it fit with just a bit of a gap on either end with the rubber coupling holding it together? This way the rubber couplings act as isolators from engine torque movements instead of metal to metal contact with little isolation and the tube rubbing against the throttle body and the AFM. Mine is currently installed without trimming the tube. There is a 1/4" gap between the tube and the master cylinder. There is significant movement of the AFM unit when I cycle the throttle body and the engine does its torque movement routine. Maybe it wouldn't make a difference without the metal to metal contact. I'll take a look at it again tomorrow. Thoughts?
