Anyone have a recommendation for a machine shop that can resurface my 22re head near Edmonds?
I dont mind driving a few miles for some quality work at a good shop.
While I stilled lives in CA I used this place called Morgan's Machine & Marine. I frickin loved them. Real helpful staff, and very knowledgeable machinists that talked me through everything they did and why they did it. They didnt try and sell me things I didnt need and even talked me out of some expensive stuff I was going to do that I didnt need. Great place and great work.

 

Don't know if it's too late for a reply on this one, haven't been on YT in a while because holidays, but Baxter (used to be Action) on Aurora in Shoreline has a machine shop and if those guys are anywhere near as helpful as the guys at the parts counter they'll do you right. I haven't had them do any work for me yet, but I do plan on going to them to bore/hone my cylinders this summer.

 

I know this is an old thread but I second the recommendation for Action Machine in Shoreline, they did outstanding work on my 20r cylinder head and intake. A little pricey, but very quick turn around and very willing to answer my newbie questions and explain everything in detail. Also the dude was super knowledgeable about Toyota engines.
