I noticed it quickly, like I would notice the difference between a chrome bumper and a black bumper on my own truck.

Super old post revival........................
Ordered sway bar bushing and steering rack bushing sets for an 01' Runner and got them oh, a month and a half later.
Decent to deal with, just took forever.

Good luck with Wheeler's Off Road. I bought a set of leaf springs to replace the broken set on my '00 Tacoma. Eighteen, 100% on-road, light load months later, the Wheeler's set is broken, and out of warranty. I called to express my dissatisfaction, and was told that an 18 month life expectancy is not out of the ordinary, because the design is poor (a near-direct quote from Jason).

At this point, a replacement would hardly be satisfactory, since replacing Toyota springs in New England means torching apart and replacing all the hardware as well, so I'd be out a day's labor and $100 bucks out of pocket, at best.

So if you believe a set of leafs used mainly for commuting should have a life span somewhere in between a set of brake pads and a bottle of washer fluid, these guys are the way to go. If like everybody else in the world, you expect a set of springs to last about as long as the chassis, go elsewhere. I'll just get a set from the junkyard, couldn't conceivably be worse.

Oops, my mistake. I thought I had a broken leaf on the right side. I actually have two broken leaves on the right, and one on the left. Great job, Wheeler's. Nice of you to hide behind your warranty, instead of standing behind your product.

wow two whole posts and both of them to flame wheelers well well, first wheelers does not make the leaves themselves so go flame alcan. Toyota oe leaves have no warranty and cost almost twice as much last just as long. I've sold over 10 sets of wheelers HD replacement spring over the last four years and breakage has never been a problem, sorry you got a bunk set but i'd install and test a whole lot more than one set before making huge claims. Its too bad you and jason could not come to a agreement but don't write off the whole company

Wheelers

I'll get my Bilstein 5100 (Tundra valved) for the front and Bilstein 5125's rear with OME 906 springs. Can't wait!! I'll take some before and after pictures and measurements and post again next weekend. Jeff at Toytec was really friendly and patient with me figuring out what i wanted although the Tundra Bilstein 5100's are on back order for about 2 months but i found them at Wheelers Offroad.

I'm stoked!
