PSE Superchargers guy,

I am not here to flame you but to give you some constructive advice.
As Bob had mentioned, if you check out Pirate4x4.com you can find that there was an incident where one person tried to cheat another and because of his refusal to apologize and set things straight it was drawn out WAY more than it should have.

http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=399203

Now, I don't believe that the majority of Yotatech would be malicious enough to find out where you live and who you have relationships with BUT the lesson to learn from this example is that the SOONER you set things straight, the sooner it will be over and die on its own. Unfortunately, you decided it would be better to post straight on to the thread instead of a one-to-one form of communication and you're paying the price now. You yourself have probably caused some loss of business now - not by anything anyone here has done but by accusing a well-respected member of this forum.

I'm sure a lot of people would like to see this resolved and DIE on its own than have it drawn out with all x number of members wanting to post their opinions on it. In fact, I would not be suprised if a moderator LOCKED the thread once you have apologized for the threats against someone's opinion. The last thing we want to see here is someone beating a dead horse.

Resolve it and it will die.
Ignore it and it will grow and fester like you REALLY don't want it to.
This is not a threat (if you perceive it as one). This is honestly an objective perspective coming from someone who knows this forum better than you.

Mark as far as I know, it updates the database on the fly here when you edit your text.

My message to Christian was a private email message and was not intended to be shared with anyone other than Christian and the web forum administrator. I would ask that Churnd delete his post. PSE is satisfied with the adjustments that Christian has made and I have no further concerns. Just because I stood up for myself (which anyone of you would have done) doesn't make me a bad guy. I was called a potential road rage violent person, (which is far from the truth), and it was stated that I made a negative comment toward another company. Christian and I took care of this, so I ask that everyone just drop it.

Hysterical, seeing as you were the one that posted your message in this thread.

I would ask that Churnd delete his post.
I would ask that he doesn't.

Not quite the apology Peter rightly suggested you make. Maybe we should just ban you.

wow. now trying to come up with some CYA about it being a "private email message" that YOU posted on a public forum?

you're a real winner, aren't you?

i hope that this doesn't go away. the BEST you can EVER hope for here is to apoligize for your actions and request that the moderators lock this thread.

TOM: NO! don't ban him, YET! this is just getting good. he keeps digging the hole deeper, and deeper, and deeper...

The message stays. I hope you get to stay too, because I believe in second chances. Be a good businessman, and focus on righting your wrong instead trying to cover up your mistakes. You'll get a second chance if you prove yourself worthy and eventually, this whole thing will become an afterthought.

The Vendor Feedback forum is there for specifically this reason. Nobody likes dealing with a crappy vendor, and this forum lets us know which ones to be wary of. It's your first snafu, so I'd think it wouldn't be too hard to correct. If your service is as good as you say it is in your original post, you'll be fine.

Not that I expect you to read the entire thread that I linked ('cause DAMN is it long!) but just so you know... the guy who tried to do the ripping off justified it for pages and pages before he apologized, set things right and consequently ended the thread.

Half-butt (ahem) measures aren't going to satisfy a ball that you got rolling. If anything it just feeds it.

Swallow your pride and get it over with.

I can't believe this guy claims to remember specifics about a potential customer calling and asking questions from more than a year ago. What if he wasn't eating lunch? What if it was a snack?

While there are two sides to every story and Christian's original post may have been exagerated (I wasn't there so I can't make that call, although after seeing the owner's reply I would bet on Christian being spot on). As a business owner you handled that all wrong. Your first step should have been to apologize even if you know you did nothing wrong because your potential CUSTOMER felt offended and "wronged". If you were in a bad mood that day you should have apologized before you got off the call not a year later. I am sure that you are great at what you do but I would suggest getting someone who is great at talking to customers and has the time to talk to customers before you put yourself out of business. Don't feel alone in this, it is a huge problem for people that have great technical skills, often times you lack interpersonal skills. Good luck with your business.

I guess only one question remains - what did he have for lunch that day?

I agree. It is funny, but when I used to work for a big name service company they drilled it in our heads that for every unhappy customer you loose 7 potential customers(since they tell a few friends). This was true in the past, but now with the internet, I am sure there are more than just 7 potential customers lost.

By the way I have a supercharger that will eventually need a rebuild.

Guys -

Ed just contacted me via PM. I believe he sincerely wants this to end. We all mess up in life, so I am going to give him the benefit of the doubt and forgive him. I asked that he respond to this thread with a statement about the type of business he runs and how he would like to move forward from here. Once that is done, I would like to request that the mods lock this thread.

Thanks for getting my back everyone. Let's all give him a chance to make one last post, then lock this puppy down.
