LC Engineering

Dang, talk about blast from the past but the first time I've read this post. The LCE 22RE lemon site was one of the reasons I strayed away from them plus a bit rich for my blood. Glad things worked out for you OC you got pics of the parts? My rig will be in storage so I'm not going to do anything new to it other than maintence so I need a web wrenching fix.

I do remember all the stuff surrounding that lc engineering lemon site. Quite funny at the time. That also kept me away from them.

It was just the 22r EGR block off plate kit. Just two plates and some nuts and bolts.
Not a big deal but I thought maybe I would give them a try after reading both good and bad press about them.
I figure I will leave either positive or negative feedback or any vender I deal with. In this case I was very happy they got it out just before a holiday weekend, something I did not expect.

I've been running one of their shortblocks along with dual-row timing kit, rocker arm assembly, street header, cat-back & balanced injectors. Good technical support, and fast turn-around, although I am only a few hours from their shop. Will continue to recommend & support them.

I personally have bought many items from LC. Header, cat back, torsion bars, block off plates, front end components, bushings, ect ect. Sorry you all have had a bad experience but, I cant relate. Tech support(John) is one of the best in the business. When it comes motor time this summer, LC is the only call I'll be making.

I have purchased a number of items from LC Engineering. The first motor, a Stage 5 Pro unit, failed twice because of a bad Mikuni carb supplying cylinders #3 and#4-my fault. John in tech really tried to help me with the problem. I purchased a new Stage 5 Pro Stroker motor with Webers on and I have not had any problems with this motor even running Nitrous. As far as pricing goes "You get What You Pay For" and if you do not want to purchase the best go somewhere else. I have read numerous posts on this WEB site (and others) and I am amazed at the amount of money people spend on things that are "Lower in Cost" but in the long run will not last or holdup. I am also amased by the poor advice that is out there because it is the fad or "Joe" did it to save money. I do my "Homework" before I make a purchase because I only want to do it once. Today everything costs way too much whether it is material, labor or shipping and as far as customer service goes most vendors today have none. LC Engineering has great Customer and Tech service that is hard to find today. Yes, they make mistakes like we all do but in the long run the good outruns the bad. I believe that the products LC Engineering supplies are the best and most important is that most of the items work together to give the performance and reliability you expect when you are spending your "Hard Earned Money".
