Thumbs up InReTECH's Maglite Mod

Holy crap!

Yesterday I performed my first mod on my Maglite. Wow! What a difference. I installed InReTECH's LED mod. It's pretty cool. I see it as being equal to installing PIAA Xtreme White bulbs, but for the Maglite!

If you love your Maglite, you should check this stuff out! Anyone else done any of these types of mods?

That is cool Gene.
I have been thinking of getting a new headlamp from REI later that has both the regular bulb, and the LEDs in it as I hear the LEDs are pretty cool.

I did not now you could convert a Maglite.
Mine is a 4 or 5 D cell one, I can't remember.
What is all involved in moddin' the Maglite over to a LED setup?

The kits comes with everything you need. It's just a matter of disassembling the head until, placing the new peices in the right order, and firing her up. I did this on one of my 4 cell lights (one that I thought was bright to begin with!) and boom! Light that you could almost feel! Heh-heh!
