Does the $250 included powder coating? Can you quote me a shipping estimate to 92683 (business)?

I dont think youll get it painted or powder coated at this price! I just cleaned mine with acetone and put the first few coats of satin black on it, Im going to try and get it installed tomorrow. As far as tag lights, these are what I got for mine!

Just placed my order. It's going to look great on my 86! I'll be sure to post pictures once it's installed.

Thanks for the orders guys! I have 2 more left, and one should have a down payment on it very shortly. After that, I will have 1 left, and one in "kit" form. If anyone is interested, PM or email me.
Thanks!

Thumbs up first pictures of mine on my 88

Here are some pics on my 88... I hit a few snags with my trailer hitch and the fiberglass bed, its a lot thicker than a steel bed so I had to really work the bumper into place and trim is in a few spots to make it fit but its on there and solid as a rock! I just got the tag mounted up with a new tag frame and the plate lights, having it centered above my hitch and dropped down a little made my new bumper look a lot better than it does in the pictures! Ill get some better pictures in the daylight once I give the bumpter a top coat of paint, right now its got 2 coats of satin black but the paint was only a day old and I beat it up installing it today...I also have NOS Toyota tailgate Im getting ready to paint and install, its the only thing on my truck that has some rust issues Thanks again Kyle!! ~Matt

I just got mine installed. It fits great and looks nice. It's very stout and well built. Don't hesitate to deal with Kyle, he's a good cat.

I'll get some pictures posted of it soon.

I might be interested at the turn of the year if you still have it. Would you feel comfortable towing 2500lbs with this?

This bumper won't limit your towing capacity....the truck will. It is every bit as stout as the factory bumper, most likely quite a bit stronger. It is attached to the frame with large, straight 3/16" steel plate, no bends. The original was curved downward to clear the bed under the tailgate, thus creating a potential stress point not present with a straight mount.

Just to give a reference a factory bumper I believe is only rated for 2,000 trailer weight and a 200 lb tongue. barely a class 1 hitch I believe.

I wonder what it would cost me to get the bumper I made rated. Of coarse I would have to have add a hitch receiver welded in there.

alot of money and paper work.. hence why most companies that make bumpers do the testing.

The frame brackets are actually 1/4" thick steel. The rest of the bumper is 3/16". Thanks for the good words Tommy!
I have ONE left...but I was planning on selling it in kit form. Most of the small stuff is welded together, needs the ends welded on, and the mounting brackets. The pull points are attached to the frame brackets already, end pieces are completely welded, etc.
I got a lot of interest after I sold the last few that I had. Would people be interested if I put this last one together and sold it as a complete bumper, like the rest of the bumpers?

Thanks to all who purchased from me! I sure appreciate it!

Kyle

Question

I really like these bumpers.
Whats your price on the final bumper in kit form vs. complete, and how much would shipping be to Vancouver, WA 98682?

I'm curious if there is a hole for a hitch to be welded in place in the center or if it would come complete with a hitch. Also where do you mount a license plate? My truck's a daily driver and has to have a rear plate. If you mount the plate on the bumper, could you post some pics with a plate on it?

Could you include some pics of the back of one of the bumpers too so I can see how they mount to the frame and how the mounts are secured to the bumper.

Thanks a lot.

It would be $300 shipped (completed), or $240 shipped in kit form. As mentioned before, even in kit form, most of the work is already done. The bumper already has the square hole in it for the reciever, which I will include in the kit. There are better pictures over on TTORA. Ever since I moved, their forum blocks my new IP address, so I cant get to them anymore. Let me know.

Okay, so it seems nobody is interestred in the kit bumper. I have gotten 5 or 6 emails from guys, asking to build more. That being said...I am going to put this last bumper together, and sell it as complete. It is indeed the LAST one...so if you want it, better act now. The first to post here or email me directly who says they want it, and send me the $$$ will get it. Act now or miss out forever. LOL.
Thanks to everyone who has bought from me! Much appreciated!

Kyle - I've been seeing a green std. cab 4x4 with your bumper on it on Craigslist... are you selling your truck?
