Can you guys post pictures of you interiors? Also, tips or tricks to keeping your CB,Sterio(like a sub) and other components DRY when your weeling in mud/water.

Im gonne be running NO DOORS/Bikini top and im affriad of all my electrical parts getting fried. Any help would be GREAT!

BTW...The truck is an 884runner.

Is it worth taking the doors off if your just gonna get everything wet? Why not keep them on and not have to worry about it?

Sounds liek it's time to buy a marine radio and speakers that are water proof/resistant.

leave the doors on. and unless you have a snorkel you shouldnt be going through water more than a couple of feet deep anyway. If your runner is of similar height to my truck then you can handle 2 feet of water without it coming in under the door. Any deeper and your asking for trouble in a number of ways.

thats a good rule of thumb. If only i had thought about that before going into 2 and half feet water in a jeep tryin to get the yota unstuck.

first step, PULL OUT ALL THE CARPET or if you dont have the carpet, the insulation and rubber floor mat material. these will just rust your truck to peices if water gets under them, plus with them removed, you have access to the floor drain plugs.

next, move the ECU to the glovebox a la roger browns website.

any tools, equiptment or other stuff you dont want to get wet, put in ammo cans.

as for seats: wal-mart and auto parts stores now carry some canvas seat covers in either green/khaki or gray/black. buy a pair of these and a can of scotch guard. on a warm day outside, use the entire can of scotch guard on the seat covers. (if you dont have bucket seats, get some from the JY or buy some summit racing plastic ones and you can skip this step entirely.) with your seats waterproofed, you dont have to worry about them molding up for the most part.
