T-case tech

T-case tech
ok im gtting ready for my 5spd swap on my 89 4runner with a 3.0L...
here's what i have so far
-v6 dual case x-member(it's stayin a single case though)
-v6 HD clutch kit
-flywheel
-HD t-case mount
-slave and master
-misc. blots, boots and other
-v6 trans with belhousing and t-case(picking up next weekend)
what i need still
-hard line
-soft line
-pedal assymebly
-rear d-shaft
-consol with boots
-shift levers
i'm keeping it a single case with 4.7 gear set, i just got the daul case x-member from TG casue it was cheaper than Bud's. i know it works with a single case.
i've done alot of re-search and here's what i need to know: what t-case do i need to be able to run a 4.7 geat set????
i know im goona need the 23 spline input and 23 spline gear set as the v6 trans has 23 spline out put.
i also need to know if i need a forward shift t-case or a top shift
i ran across this in my searching...

some one told me that any W seris t-case would not work which leaves me with the G seris or the turbo case...the turbo case is out of the question(price and rareity). so that just leaves me with the G seris. then someone else told me the W seris would work...i've tried calling MC but no one answered. so i need some help here

Ummm - no, at least mine wasn't. It's a chain drive case with topshift normally behind the V6 manual tranny.
Unfortunately, I skimmed your original post instead of reading it in the depth I should have.
You will need the V6 adapter plate and a top-shift case (any one will work)
