please critique my suspension package I just ordered

Any comments on the new suspension I ordered last night? I will be putting this on my 1999 4runner 2wd v6 that is still running the stock stuff with 150k on the odo. I didnt get the extended studs or diff drop because I am just looking for a better than stock ride, not really a huge lift. Am I missing any critical parts? Should I get new springs isolators etc?

Looks good. You may be a little bit nose down with that setup, but you wont know until its all together.

Let us know how you like the swaybars...

A couple of Andy's spacers will level you out if you end up nose down. I put those coils in the back but did OME in the front and it kinda has a "cat in heat" look. I will be getting spacers from Andy very soon.

BTW don't forget the panhard drop!

I'm not too sure about 2wheel drive versions but it may work. BTW the avatar is pretty funny.

he should be fine up front as well. he's 2WD, so he's about 150# lighter than a 4WD. that would relate to a slightly higher stance, but still less than 1/2".

IIRC, the 890's are good for about 1.5". he should get 1.5" from the front Tundras. Make sure to re-install the rear conical bumpstops to get an extra 1/2" in the back for a perfect stance...

Also, for a better ride, take a saw and trim off the lower "puck" from the conical bumpstop. It will result in a much-improved ride that will bottom out less.

thanks for the feedback guys. used the almighty Search button and it looks like I'll be ordering one of the panhard drop bars tonight from Steve. I hope the wife likes her new suspension. Now I'm just waiting for the motor to go so I can do a fresh rebuild and a supercharger.

also you mentioned diff drop... you dont need it, rather cant do it... its for the 4x4 guys....

I was going based on this ^^ Can anyone else confirm that the 2wd can't or won't need the panhard drop?

2 or 4WD will not differ as far as the panhard bar. You don't need it either way but it will benefit you both ways.

I would try the Tundra coils without the top out spacers. Since your lifting a 2WD, you will not have the weight of the front diff or any sort of aftermarket bumper and winch.

Other than that it looks like you have everything.

He said you don't need, nor can you even put the DIFF drop, the panhard is something else and a good idea (although also not mandatory).

It is if you don't want to break the stems off of the OME rear shocks.

Over time, with the axle shifted, the passenger side upper stud will eventually break off.

WHOOMP

Here it is. Its a little stiffer than it used to be obviously but it handles awesome. I cant wait to throw the new sway bars and end links in



Now do you guys have any suggestions to fill those huge gaps? Remember this is the wifes grocery getter so something street oriented. I was thinking maybe the lexus wheels or TRD 20" wheels but those are over $2k.
