Question OME860 & BJ ** OR ** 2" BL???

Okay, I did a nice 3" (plus change) lift and slapped on my 33s. However, I get some rubbing in the front during articulation.

I've been going through this forum and other sites for two weeks now and can't decide and need your opinion:

2" BL which'll cost me about $162.

** OR **

OME 860 for $149 and 1.5" BL for $150
(I'll sell my Downey HDs and spacers for about $250 or so)

I'm just worried that the 5.5" of lift w/ the OME 860s may require me to buy other parts to accommodate that suspension lift. Would I need upper and/or lower control arm links?

The ride on my rig now is so smooth I love it, this is why I considered a BL. But, I've never done a BL before, so it's new territory for me. The coils...well, been there, done that, so I know my way around in that arena and my be easier. Or, is the BL easier... Aaaah, I really need help please.

I did the 860's in the rear and am now trying to figure out the upper links. I guess I'll have to make them adjustable, but don't know how to go about recentering the axle. Think about new shocks in the rear also....

Have you done any trimming on the front where it rubs? Check out the link below for a writeup on a 2nd gen w/ 33s and a 1" body lift to make the tires fit:

You don't need OME860 trust me. Those are for the SAS folks...
Do what 4Crawler said. Get 1" BL with inner fender trimming and banging a little or go for 2" lift.
I did the 2" lift with 33's and 3" Downey in rear for a while.

Thanks Anthony, I think I'll go with the 2" BL.
Did you like the BL and 3" Downey lift?
How did it ride?

BTW, your rig is cool. I dig the info on your site.

Thanks
The BL will not affect the ride as far as up/down goes. There might be a little more body roll cause you're a little higher.
If you need help with any mods the best way is to join a 4x4 club. There's plenty of wrencher there willing to help.
