OME 862 Rear Springs in a 2nd Gen ?

Anyone using OME 862's in the rear of their 2nd Generation, and if so how do you like them?

I have standard (OEM) FJ80 coils in there now and they are great except when I need to load up with lots of gear for extended trips. They are a little too soft, OK on the road except for the squat look they provide, but too much pre-compression for off road use.

OME 862's are supposed to be a higher spring rate and 1/2" more lift than OEM. I'm hoping they won't be too stiff when the load is light. Also thinking about air bags to help the OEM spring with the load.

Any advice is appreciated.
