yea thanks man..I think im gonna go with the third style. Its not gonna be that shiny, and it will look better in real life. The problem is I have rust on the passenger side of the bed, up on that flare part. Thats why I wanted to cover it with herculiner after I did the rust/body work. But I just dont lik ethe look. I know im never gonna be able to match the paint, so i dont know what im gonna do. Maybe a nice sticker HAHA

 

If your worried about matching paint, can't you have a body shop just paint the lower section for you?
I think herculiner (or another brand) will serve your purpose very well. You should be able to get it in a flat or a semi-gloss black.
Don't go putting stickers on anything, they offer no protection at all.

 

he truck isnt worth painting...The paint is from 86, and by now...looks like Grey drab. I dont mind the color, I just dont want to try and match it...cuz it will never match. Im just gonna herculine the bottom of the truck. It will look good.
