Question Limiting Strap Install Questions

After doing some searching, I have found some good stuff on limiting straps. Has anyone seen a good write-up on this kind of install? I am wondering about welding tabs on the frame, and exactly where they should go? I know it is out there, I just haven't found it yet...

if your shocks are horizontal bolts, use them...

btw, how much lift and articulation do you have?

as long as you didnt put any longer than stock shocks on the front, you dont need straps, the shocks will only extend so far, but if you did put longer ones on then i would worry about your cv joints binding on full droop and would go for the straps

I agree that its very doubtful with a typical OME setup that you'll ever need limiting straps.

I was considering them for use with the OME 891 Rear Spring /N86 Shock Set-up.
It is only 2.5" of lift or so. My main concern is that the shock itself not be the limiter when it comes to droop.
