BJ spacers, Chevy swap, u-bolt flip, shocks in stock location - rear Bilstein BE 56250H5 20.75" compressed, 34.91" extended, 14.31" travel. Front - Bilstein BE 56582H5 11.67" compressed, 17.95" extended, 6.28" travel. I am concerned about the compressed lengths being too long and not allowing the tires to be stuffed without running out of room in the shock and damaging the shocks. I have not ordered these yet but I need to very soon. I came up with these numbers from a cross from rancho 5012 and 5167 shocks which were recommended by some others who had a similar setup. I need help with this please let me know if you think this will work.

It's hard to say whether they will work or not, your best bet is to measure your own truck from mount to mount and find out... Check extended and compressed values and see...

The rear shocks may be too tall for the stock location. you may want to mount them in a / \ . Like Brian said, its best to measure and then decide. also talk to others that have the same setup and see exactly what they are running.

I have been trying to obtain this info for several days. I know it is a fairly common setup but no one seems to be able to give me their sizes. I have not installed this yet but I wanted to have everything ready to assemble at once so I have minimal downtime with my runner. Please keep the replies coming.

those shocks may be alittle long...i know 14" travel bils barely fit on my 86 rear with 5" Alcans and LOTS of travel...i dont know how much lift you will get with the chevys..? if you mount them through the bed or fab a custom mount they will work however. mounting them in an / \ pattern also allows the use of longer shocks and more travel but it compromises shock performance also and leads to more body roll.
