How depnedable and how well do detroit TruTrac's work?

I had a TT 4.88 in the front 7.5 incher in my 89 4runner. It didn't break. Want to buy it?
Remember, Limited Slip means Limited Traction! My summary it is that it works great until you get a tire in the air. Then, brake bias or not, you might as well be open.

I put an EZ locker in the front after 1 season of the TT. full auto, turing on dry rock (moab) sucked, otherwise it is fine.

I don't think setting up an ARB is much harder than setting up an LSD diff. Sure you havae to drill a hole in the cast iron case and bend a copper line, but that is it. Electric selectable looks hardest to me. Axle housing mods and lots of wiring compared to ARB.

Is it possible that the Aussie permits steering better than an EZ?

With my front Aussie I can steer softly even in dry rock...
