Extreme Duty lower links

Sonoran Steel has brand new lower links available for 3rd gen 4runners and FJ Cruisers. http://www.sonoransteel.com/Extreme_...wer_Links.html
1996-2002 Toyota 4Runner: $250.00
2007+ Toyota FJ Cruiser: $300.00

I'll be adding these bad boys pretty soon. Anyone else planning to get them?

It appears that they are rubber bushings.
Rubber bushings > poly bushings for sure.
J-Joints > rubber bushings.
Now, if he had just made 'em adjustable, and adjustable uppers the world would be a happy place

They are Genuine Toyota Factory Bushings. Noting wrong with those at all, these are the better of the two versions offered on the 3rd Gen 4Runner. The tubes are unbendable, you will destroy the vehicle before you bend these.

As for the links with the RE Joints, well the world changes and we have to roll with the punches.

that's a pretty ballsy statement ... I got a tensile machine that will disprove the "unbendable" part

Having seen Steve's work though, while I wouldn't make an absoute statement like that, it's probably true in all practical circumstances!

It probably would be better to say that by the time you bend these links you'll have destroyed your frame and the factory brackets that the links mount to.

Of course they can be bent or destroyed if you really want to, but they are far more stout than all of the other parts on the trucks frame and twice as thick as the frame itself. Twice as thick as the stock mounts and links.
