Unhappy Dual Cases Question

I'm pretty new to the whole Toyota world, and iv looked everywhere for an answer to my question and it is probably staring me right in the face but i plan on installing a Dual 2.28 case setup on my 1981 Toyota pickup and was wondering how 2wd-hi works with dual cases? Does it slow down my current 2wd? Or is having the rear case in 2-hi and the front case in hi the same as having one case running 2-hi without dual cases?
I know this is probably a really dumb question but iv looked everywhere for an answer, hopefully someone here could fill me in on it.
I'm just afraid that dual cases will ruin my 2wd speeds on the street.

Doesn't effect normal 2wd unless you want it to, you still retain that gearing option. Marlin Crawler is one of the best resources for dual cases: https://www.marlincrawler.com/sites/...800&height=720
Here is a table of gear ratios too: https://www.marlincrawler.com/java/ratiotable.html
