i'm just curious how they addressed the issue.
EDIT: ahhh...i see in the post above that they do have full time 4wd now...that's why binding on pavement is no longer an issue.

The SUV's have full-time 4WD but the trucks still have part-time 4WD.
My truck has two buttons: 4WD and 4LO They just seem to be an
electronic version of the 4WD selection lever I had in my Tacoma.
VSC is an option on the Tundra's but mine does not have it. I think VSC
is done entirely with braking (each wheel can be controlled individually by
the VSC computer)
I'm still trying to figure out if my Tundra has an LSD. I think it does based
on the excellent traction on wet roads in 2WD mode. The X-SP package
that came on my truck seems to have no information available on it via the
internet. The window sticker was removed so I can't check that.

a stop sign. The impact fliped the truck over onto it's side. Quite
a ride that was.

I didn't have anything to go by as far as price. There was nothing on the
internet about the X-SP package. I tried looking it up while I was at the
dealership but nobody had anything on X-SP.
I did get a good deal. The X-SP had just come out and they liked
the truck so much that the manager was driving this truck. It had 400 miles
on it when I bought it but I didn't care. I took it for 28,500 (before tax).

I have a limited slip, and i can wheel the same trails as people with one locker
get the limited slip, if you do limited offroading a locker is a waste of money...
