4wd problem/tranny swap/t-case swap
I have a 93 4runner 5 speed manual with ADD, you probably know what im gonna ask next but hold on a sec. I just took out the g58 and tcase and put in a w56b and tcase ( anyone wanting to know something bout this swap just ask) Now I also changed the cv joint because it was broken. Upon putting the new trans back in i noticed that there are a lot of wires that arent hooked up, only one i hooked up was the o2 sensor. When i took the truck out for a spin there wasnt any 4wd, is this because wires arent hooked up to the tranny or tcase, can i hook them up to this older none add transmission, or is it just some simple issue with differential oil or vacum lines. I did a seach but every single piece of advice kind of applies to my situation so i was hoping to narrow it down

I had this problem too… My solution was to get rid of the ADD, just lock the front diff and add manual hubs. http://www.4x4wire.com/toyota/tech/add/index.htm?
Not really what your asking but just another way to go.
Hope this helps.
