2007 tacoma sport 9.5 inches lift

hey there everyone i have a 2007 tacoma and right now it has the 3.5 revtec spacer lift. I am waiting on my 6 inch fabtec suspension lift and i am going to combine the two lifts (i know 90% of people on here are going to be like ) but i only off road about 5-10% of drive time.

My main question is with 9.5 inches of lift and those two kits will i need a driveline extension or anything else done that you may know of?

thanks any info will be appriciated.

re

yea i dont know too much about them either i had jeeps before. but its not a true 9.5 it would actaully be about 8 inches.... 6 suspension and 2 in coil spacers and 1.5 blocks in the back.

with the 6'' kit alone, i know you dont need to do anything but i was wondering about two more inches.

Compensating for something maybe?

The 6" on a new model Taco is good for, what, 37's? Certainly for 35's ... then a couple more on top of that ... what are you trying to run 40's?

For a truck that only sees 5-10% of time offroad, I can think of MUCH better ways to spend the money...

OOh - didn't think of that ... cuz, ya know, you need a BUNCH of lift to run a 31x18.50 on 20" wide rims!

Because we're trying to save him from having to spend MORE coin in the future fixing this or paying health insurance deductibles...

back to your original question, you should be able to combine those two lifts, the fabtec is a bracket type lift so everything will stay at stock angles, you should be able to add the spacer lift with no problems, it would be like adding it to a stock vehicle, the only difference is that the entire front end is 6" lower than it was before, you may run into rear drive shaft issues, its hard to know without actually doing it

I think it would be cool & I've never seen a newer Tacoma lifted THAT high nor have I read of anyone doing it but I'd think it would be nice looking. Prolly not much information about doing it since its on a newer truck. Good luck with it & be sure to post pics!
