T R D Brakes?

How many of you have Tundra TRDs? Are the pads for TRD models different than Non-TRD?? I Need to get new brake pads.. but stock pads SUCK for Tundra's! If There are suck TRD brake pads, i will probably try those instead of regular stock ones.... if not Im thinking about getting ceramic brake pads.. i heard those work better! ANY INPUT GUYS? THANKS!!!

Not on a Tundra, but an IS300. They work, but have trade offs: Noise, dust and they eat rotors. However, my IS was subject to track use and extreme abuse. If you get them, change out the fluid to synthetic at the same time for better heat resistance. I used Valvolilne SynPower 500°F fluid, about $6/quart, enough for a Tundra. I'd still boil it toward the end of a track day, but don't think that would happen with a Tundra during normal use.

All Tundra's come with the same brakes, not counting the ones in the TSB. TRD makes 2 brake pads for the Tundra. One is a direct replacement for the stock pads, the other is for their "Big Brake" kit. For the money, of the TRD's, you might as well get cereamics and better rotors. Check out www.wheelers.com, they have brakes for Tundras.
