I have you tube doors and sliders on my runner. Aside from the bumper that I built the doors are the #1 thing people comment on. The first thing they ask is if I built them myself. The sliders are a huge saver against trees. Awesome job couldnt be any more impressed.

Once the cage is in is the dash still removable? Like the glove box?

 

I've never had to take a dash out. There is about an inch of space between the dash and the cage.

 

Oh well I mean like to access the stereo for whatever reason can it still be done?

 

Yes you can get the speakers out and into the glove box, into the kick pannels, ext.

You guys should consider making a soft top frame/roll bar kit, similar to the canback frame but beefier...something that ties into the mounting point for the original roll bar on a 1st gen 4runner.

I'd buy one for sure. Not looking for the whole roll cage, just something to replace my factory rollbar and use as a frame for my Kayline top...every once in a while you see old soft tops for sale with missing hardware to mount it.

 

How about a 2nd gen 2 door... I know they're not very common but I'n interested if you do...
