It was worth a shot haha. Your leather work is coming out great. I like the fact your using old leather. Let me know if you run short, I've got alot of old motorcycle racing leathers.

So I just became a member here yesterday, I have to say if membership were to cost money, this build would make the fee worth it. Thank you for such an in depth build post. I look forward to seeing so much more from you!!!!

thanks ..
lots of people bugged me about this .. I just think they don't have the "vision" and couldn't "see" the end product .
it's gonna look smokin' from the underside , as well as the top side .. I think anyway !

so busy as usual .. but I have managed to get a few things done in the last couple of weekends .
Built my Custom tail gate
also powder coated the guts and a couple of other pieces .
also just about finished the air intake system . I had to build a new MAF mount . So I started with the raw chunk of metal and went to work . Cut , welded and powdercoated .. very happy with the final result . Replaced the o-ring , and thread locked the new mount hardware .

finally got my window switches .. I guess the first set got lost .
I think the contrast of the billet is gonna look sweet .
got them mounted , and now I can finish the console
also , almost got my w/washer tank and rad over flow done .. just a little more to do .
just have to build the mount brackets , then I will sand blast again , TIG the top on , and then powder coat inside and out .. and done .
