so what hoped would be the last test fit didn't work out ...

drivers dump pipe weaved threw the limited space between the brake master cyl. and the steering shaft , and the head .. NICE !!

but the crossover , wrapping around the tranny , the flange was just hitting the frame member .. so I have to re do this .. so now with a measurement , I can easily fix this ..

a friend of mine also dropped off an old light bar he had sitting around , so I got a little work done on that ..
The drivers side kicker "foot" was not welded on correctly , or I actually thing it had 2 Right feet ...

don't like it , so I need to fix it ... cut the foot off to re-weld it

also noticed a rust hole ... DANG !!!
so I cut it with a hole saw , and now I can patch it ....

so .. when I'm all don't with the repairs on the light bar , I'm going to chemical treat the inside etching the rust , and then I can dump a slurry of POR15 in side, swish it all around , and seal up the inside .... Will do the POR AFTER I powder coat it though

You have your work cut out on some of your projects that have rust on them. You do great on getting it fixed. People that get to work on rust free trucks have no idea what is involved in it and how lucky they are.

I like the idea for lacing the wheel.

Thanks Terry ... don't matter where you live ... these bars and bumpers were never treated on the inside . you and I know , where every you are , raw bare metal will rust , just takes time ... with a little treatment , it should last a VERY long time ..

got the bar all done .. foot welded correctly , fit and ready for some powder ..

also .. just wanted to mention , a fella on this board sent me an OE toyota oval aluminum bumper for FREE a few years back .. he said to save it , and maybe use it on a project . I don't remember who it was , but if your reading this ..I'm using it on THIS truck . it will be around for a VERY long time , its is going out for powder coat with the light bar .... thanks again .

also
crossover is all fitted as well ... time for final welding and ceramic

well one more test fit before I can blow it all apart again .

tranny goes in, so engine position will be exactly where it is suppose to be .

turbos back on , and now can figure out some piping , and the intercooler

and intercooler ... which I think I can raise up another inch for max perfect fit .
