Shop Recommendations NorthWest Tennessee for Tacoma CV axle conversion to manual hubs
Anybody know of a shop in Northwest TN that could do a turnkey hubs conversion on a 2002 Tacoma dbl cab TRD? I just do not have time or a location to do the work right now and am about ready to dump the TRD.
Front diff rebuilt last spring-bearings severely worn at 60K. CV axles both bad since then. 2&1/2" suspension lift changed CV axle angles-possibly caused excess wear? Need more lift, but axle angles too severe when running all the time.
Truck is weekend hunting/fishing truck- not daily driver. Has only 67K in over 9 years. Less than 2k of 4X4-off-road and snow/ice on road.
What was Toyota thinking- save/make money by designing truck to wear out parts for no rational reason?
