Uh, we just had a meeting here at the Auburn facility. The main topic is a shortness of nutplates
So just where did you pick up your nutplates
P.s. Being in Quality i wouldn't accept the rivets
Great idea though. I bet it holds real well.
Great reading. Keep it up.

Thats good to know.
When i was up in Everett on the 777 i heard a guy purchased nutplates for his race car. Guess he had them all over to remove body panels real quick.
Someone told the PoPo about a guy working at Boeing using nutplates. He had to dig up the receit that he actually purchased the nutplates and fasteners. Whew!
I sure like your installations. When i get a new rig i might come up and spend the day with ya.

Hello Kd,
Just wanted to thank you for your install tips. Based on your tips, I installed the roof rack light bar, and (4) KC slim lights nicely... I ran all the wires through the bar, and into the cab, everything was sealed well and turned out awesome..!!!
Also, just finished up on the sound system, the following is what
I got:
Pioneer Avic D3 w/Navigation
2- Pioneer 350 watt Kevlar 6x9's on the front doors
2- Pioneer 350 watt Kevlar 6x9's on the back door panel -(custom install)
2- Pioneer 3" speakers mounted in the front top dash
2- Pioneer 3" speakers in the rear pillars
1- Pioneer 10" slim sub woofer in slimbox cargo area.
Soundstream Tarantula 1100 watt 5Channel amp mounted on right back seat.
The system sounds crisp, clear and loud.
Installed the front brush guard..
Next upgrade will be a TrueFlow XDI air filter system- which should free up about 16 more horsepower
Gotta save some money, then want to get a custom leather seat kit for the interior, was thinking like a two tone black/charcoal grey...
I will take some photos this weekend and get them uploaded so you can check out the progress.
But thanks again,
John

-Sweet build, great pictures.
-I think you need more wires under your seat.
-Seriously though, I am assuming you aren't planning any cab immersing river crossings?
-For JDM, I got one word: Photobucket.com
-Finally, someone was asking re light mounting brackets-- just found some at: http://www.stylintrucks.com/parts.as..._prod_ids=5783

Yeah you can do it but it isn't worth it in my book. I'll stick to splashing through puddles and climbing tech trails.
And a word on forum etiquette. Posting your build pics on someone else's build thread is worse the hijacking a thread. Linking to your own build thread for a similar mod - ok.
