Kerby J's 2001 4Runner Build-Up Thread

so for the last three years this has been my work hope yall like it

As it stands now

Now for the list of mods so far
-custom front and rear bumpers and custom roof rack all built by me
-custom 4" suspension lift designed by me including manual hub comversion up front with 1.5" wheel spacers
-16"x8" Hello Maxx 6 wheels with Nitto 295/75/R16 Terra Graplers
-PIAA 520 lights
-AirRaid throttle body spacer
-Optima Yellow top battery
-Optima Red top as secondary
-Custom Heim joint tie rods
-Bagel Mod

Mods to come
-custom sliders
-Delta Tech lighting on the roof rack
-custom skid plates
-Flow Master xhaust

The roof rack is too tall IMO, but overall the 4Runner looks great. Nice custom work on the bumpers too.

Only curious about why you chose to use the tow hitch that drops down opposed to the one that was flat across? I also think it would look good if you painted the front grille black to accent the black headlights. Maybe keep a strip of chrome but mostly black? Keep up the good work!

thanx guys i did work hard on all the custom fabrication and the roof rack is so tall because i was gona put my spare tire up there but decided not to and to build the rear bumper and turboale i am gona change the grill im plannin on dointhe satoshi mod so that wil help out and i chose that tow hitch because it was the metal i had and it is mounted up furthur now than before so it wont really matter that much

Not such a big fan of shiny rims...just dont cry when you rub them on a rock

Are you planning on some quarter panel protection? The tubing might be kind of wide with the limited flares.

o the shiny wheels not worried bout bc i got a good 2 inches of rubber before them and if they do get scratched ill jus sand it out lol there aluminum and i really dont care only thing was that when i bought them they were only $100 a piece so its all good seaofnsames and stephenmarr ill post up one later tonite
