May they forever work but if not then I'm glad if it helps. It was someone else's thread that helped me find those hobby motor part numbers and made my life a whole lot easier.

One day maybe I'll get some spare cash to do the more interesting things I have in mind- and to actually get out and wheel!

Hi Hab! Back home......a great trip other than the nagging 10 day head cold in the middle of the trip. No power locks for me on my truck. Nice work and documentation, as always, of your fix.

Glad to have you back! Sorry about your head cold, how annoying for it to wait for vacation.
We just got back but only from another weekend of trail building on the Ozark Trail. So. Much. Rock! We had to raise the trail bed in one section and armor it against erosion in another. Not complaining too much since we were able to get the rock out of the creek close by, but it was still a whole LOT of rock.

So do you have any cool Germany pics you'd like to share?

Thanks....it's always nice to leave and nice to return home. As for the cold, my friend in Germany came down with it just after I arrived and promptly shared it.

Trail building season coming to a end soon? Moving rock like that is hard work for sure. Great family time though.

I may have a pic or two to share after I go through them, but most are shades of gray from all the rainy days.

Trail building fall season just hitting full swing! Lots of dates all the way into December so far, weather permitting. My favorite thing is benching and building the trails according to what the land tells me, this rock moving stuff I could live without. At least I got to call the girl card and only carried one 5 gal bucket up. After that I wormanned the shovel and pickaxe. Call me wimpy.
Next week's workday will be a different kind of fun- Take a kid mountain biking. We get to help kids find out what they can do on their bike- and it's a lot! So much to do this time of year, so much fun to be had!

Had no idea trail building went on that late in the year. The kids mtn biking sounds fun for sure. I hope to get a hike in someplace local this weekend.

Oh yeah, my body is telling me it's 10am, not 1am right now....wide awake.

We did an interesting hike I'll share soon.

I'm still pretending it's not there (creak creak creak creak).

I'm actually waiting for a spare vehicle to drive before I pull the batteries and see what's what. Should be able to nab the 99 for a few days if need be sometime in the next few weeks. I'd just rather not dismantle and remantle more times than necessary. Some people would call it lazy but let's just say......practical.

Good morning! Did you finally wake up from vacation/time change recuperation?

I did! It didn't help that I seemed to come home with a flu bug...all is good now.
The window washer reservoir on the truck decided to crack so a new one is on order. It looks pretty easy to change out.
Fall is definitely in the air here!

But first, I took mom to her 63rd HS Reunion! It was in Laughlin, Nevada. .... Wow! 50 out of a class of 75 showed up! :eek: Seriously healthy generation, eh?!?

Glad to hear you're feeling better now, rw! Bummer about the cracked tank, better washer than radiator tank, eh? It's been dry dry dry here and the leaves aren't in a hurry to turn. The weather's been amazing and a little warmer than usual, but not too warm. I'm still picking tomatoes, peppers and okra.

Radiator was replaced a couple of years ago so it better not crack for a long while.
Cool, damp here and the deer are eating the ripe tomatoes each night before I can pick them. Guess they are hungry.

Slivers of Irish Spring helped discourage the deer here. Pick the tomatoes a little orange, let 'em ripen in the safety of the window. The deer can stand outside, staring at them and cursing your name.
