WOW!!! This rig is going to be awesome. I think you have more in parts than most do in there total vehicle. And that is a lot of money. Are those the 35s on the back currently? I need a new lift due to EXTREMELY heavy bumpers. And if I could squeeze 35s on that would be fantastic. I know id have to do some pinch weld trimming up front if i stay IFS but thats ok. Sorry for the short hi-jack. Keep up the spending and bringin on the toyota pron.

I told myself that if I was going to build this the way I wanted, then I was going to do it right the first time. I have built so many rigs, that I just know what I want and what I don't.
That and when I sold the silver one to John, I had a pretty good chunk to throw at parts for the new one.

They are front coil springs that are light duty for FJ80 Land Cruisers. They yield are 1.5"-2" of lift on an 80. They are 10in/lbs heavier than the OME coils I ran in my silver 4runner. So, I figured that it should ride very similar, and given how much longer the coils are over stock, they should flex GREAT!
The 37s are going to require trimming. I will be moving the rear axle back at least 3" to allow the tires to clear the wheel wells. The back of the wheel well will need to be trimmed out and boxed back in.
The same goes up front. It will be moving forward a couple inches over stock. The wheelbase should end up around 108-109"

i cherish this thread, if i had the money and the time off from work, i drive out to your shop to be the bum that sits outside yer shop and druels over the work you do as i cry and whine that my truck isn't nearly as badass, continue to thrill us all scotty

Well, I have been getting my ass kicked by the Prerunner adapter. Turns out that Inchworm has two different versions of couplers. One has a middle neck in the coupler. The other is just splines all the way through it. I got the one with the middle neck.
Because of that neck, the crawl box will not sit flush against adapter without pushing the crawl box input back against the reduction box housing and keeping it from turning. Its like its off by 3/16" to 1/4".
So, Jonathan is sending me out a new coupler.
Other than that, I am going to go ahead and install everything else so I can at least get some measurements on stuff and to start to build the front link crossmember.
