YouTube Video: Jardine Exhaust System on my SC'd 4Runner
I got a SMOKING deal on this exhaust system. Just check out emptypockets' Jardine thread and you'll see some info. I was asked not to say how much I got it for - the price was that good.
I could immediately feel a difference in the low and high end of the powerband.
Check out the 1.5 minute video I threw together on YouTube:

(Watch how I magically switch to RHD in the middle of one of the clips )

Wait a minute now.
When I got my Magnaflow installed yesterday, my steering wheel is still on the same side.
How do I get mine switched?
Sounds good.
Can hear the super charger wind up too.

lol first thing i was going to ask was... How you switched your steering wheel over...but, now it was already asked, so I cant.
Anyways, thats a nice sounding 4runner and it looks fast as hell. I wish mine could go fast still.. hehe

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but my system now has a rattle internal to the muffler. I will be working with Jardine to take advantage of their "limited lifetime warranty."
I narrowed down the rattle to the muffler by lightly banging along the exhaust system. If you do a search for "Jardine" in the title, you'll see Dr Z had the same issue and Randy at Jardine warrantied the product, no questions asked (charged him $30 shipping).
I'm hoping I get the same treatment. I'll keep you posted.

Well I spoke to Nick (Randy is no longer with the company) over at Jardine. Nice guy. He dug up my receipt somehow and commented on how good of a deal I got. Anyway, the reason I got such a good deal is because they phased out the exhaust system for the 4Runner and no longer sell it.
So I explained the rattle to him and he said he would warranty the muffler. The crappy part is I have to sawzall off the muffler and send it to him (in Cali). So, I need to figure out a way to drive around without dying of carbon monoxide poisoning while the muffler is en route. Also, I have to find a place to weld it on.
I'll keep this thread updated so both of you can stay informed, lol.

I would, but Jardine is covering it under warranty. Unfortunately it's going to be a $50 - $75 job to weld the new replacement in. So that's $20 for shipping the old one back, $70 or so for the install of the new one...and I only paid $140 + shipping for the entire system...hmmmm.

Sorry to hear about the troubles with your muffler. I had an issue with my kit as well. The back flange of the muffler broke, so I took it to a local shop to be welded. The weld held things together for a few months, but then came loose again. After calling Jardine and explaining the situation, they won't warranty the muffler because it's been "modified". Nick tried to sell me a muffler at their cost, plus shipping. By the time I have it installed, I figure I'd be spending about $120+, which isn't that much less than the kit cost me in the beginning.
So, on Friday, I'm headed to my local Exhaust Pros shop and having a whole new muffler installed for $70-80 or so. It's gonna be a 3 chamber, stock sounding muffler, as the resonance and drone of the Jardine muffler was driving me (and my neighbors) crazy. Based on the quality of their cat back kits for the 4Runner, I can see why they quit making them. I'd have been money ahead just putting a new muffler on from the beginning.
