My buddy has a SC'd double cab Frontier. It's a DAWG! I think I could beat him with my 6-cyl JGC.
Read some reviews on the Frontier from MT, C&D or R&T. They think it's a dog too.

I've had 2 Pathfinders a 96 and a 2000 both where great vehicle and I only ever changed the oil every 5k, both had no problems whatsoever, well the 96 had the cracked exhaust manifold which they told me just happens BS, I use to turn it on after an ice cold day and in a minute was at WOT cruising at 75, anyone with a brain knows that warming an engine up is vital, my 2000 which I always let warm up never cracked anything.
Although both where great vehicles and problem free looking at the 2 Nissan Pathfinders compared to my V8 Limited 4Runner the Toyota went a step above and beyond the quality of the Nissans, just little things like I feel body panels are so much tighter, on my 2000 Pathfinder I could grab the front bumper and move it slightly the 4Runner is like it was poured into concrete, the carpet that is in the trucks seemed like it could have went in better the Toy is excellent no air pockets I even got a matching spare don't really care about that but cool both Pathfinders had steel wheels spares, even an SR5 with no options has a matching spare I don't know if this is new but I like it.
Although the Pathfinders where great they never had any aftermarket support still to this day the 96-00 with the 170hp 3.3L V6 has no real performance mods except an intake and exhaust and the Stillen SC was done away with and the one place that does sell SC they don't even work, noone has put one on an tweeked it enough so to say:pat: sort of like the Tacos and Runner owners on this board that can tell you what you need with the TRD SC.
The 2001 and newer Pathfinders have the 240 3.5 VQ engine that is bitchin and will most likely have SC and TT cause of the 350Z and G35c sharing the same engine, but the Pathfinder is unibody and has lost it's offroad heritage sort of, why the Xterra became so popular.
Hopefully the next Gen Pathfinder will be a head to head competitor with the Current 4Runner cause that Armada with the Pathfinder name is no Pathfinder.
Will I buy another Nissan probably Infiniti is looking sweet damn I want an FX45, I hate hearing owners complain the quality has dropped but I have to remind myself that the 5% complain while the 95% who are happy don't say a damn word.
To end this the Frontier is a dawg with the SC but owners just add pulleys and that helps, the Frontier and Xterra will get bigger engines in a year.
