WTB: Power Leather Seat For '02 4Runner
I have an '02 SR5 and want to upgrade the look and feel of my standard seats to that of a limited (power seat). I'm a newbie here and have done some searching here and on ebay. What are my best bets for locating such seats? The options I have located are finding seats from a donor 4Runner in the 3rd gen era, covering existing seats with faux leather, leather covers or Okoles. Any suggestions on how to approach this economically and keeping the truck looking good and consistent throughout? Suggestions for where to look for 3rd gen donor seats?

any ideas on good sources for wrecked vehicles? Can you point me to info on the Katzkins? I also found threads on Great Covers which look like an upgrade option if I settle for using the existing seats.

Thanks for the link. Do you have any ballpark on cost for Katzkins? A quick scan of Jason's site didn't reveal anything on them. As I said I'm a newbie and don't even know exactly what is different between the seat I have and the limited seat. Is there a significant 'comfort' difference that would warrant spending more than covers to get both the 'leather' feel and look?

iirc great covers is just a cover.
katzkins are a complete reupolster set.
make sure you get the front covers for the sr5. the limited has slightly different seats (they are called "sport" seats)

Thks. Found a thread on Katzkins install with pics but the pic quality is not good. Will continue to research. And what skill level is required to install Katzkins? By reupolster does that mean removing original cloth?

I changed my manual clothe seats for power leather seats. got them from a junk yard. i wired them up using trailer wiring harnesses. works great and makes it super easy if you ever need to take your seats out for anything
